Disney Laundry
Do you do laundry when you travel? Well, last time I was at Disney World, I had a ten month old with the stomach flu. I spent my days in the Park and my nights in the hotel laundromat. I was stunned at how much I paid for detergent and fabric softener from a vending machine. I have an AMAZING SOLUTION to this dilemma. Stay tuned ...

Great Disney Stationery
My favorite online stationery retailer, Expressionery, is running a hot clearance through June 1st. Get 60% off clearance prices and free shipping with this code: DB2010. I was able to pick up 144 Mickey Christmas labels for $3.92! They also have Wall-E, 101 Dalmations, and the Incredibles.
The labels make great book plates for kids. Expressionery also has some really fun Disney folded cards. I have gotten them personalized with my kids' names for cute and easy thank-you notes.
Thanks to Money Saving Mom for the alert!

I grew up in Disneyland.
Okay, not actually in Disneyland, but close. I was born into a Disney family from Anaheim, California, who watched the Park’s creation, brick by brick, and went
opening day in 1955.
You could say Disney is in my blood. I’ve been to Disney pregnant, nursing, with babies, little kids, corporate groups, parents, extended family, aging grandparents, and family members with disabilities.
From my experience, I’ve created a Magical Disney System that works very well.

There IS a RIGHT way to do Disney!
You will learn, MouseMamas, that there IS a RIGHT way to do Disney.
However, everyone experiences Disney in a different way, and the exact
details of your right way depend on the needs and wants of your particular group. To Dad, getting up at the crack of dawn to be at the Park before it opens might not be Magic.
For Grandpa, Magic might be stopping by the candy store for some peanut brittle and catching a screening of Steamboat Willie. And if you’re like my daughter and me, you understand that the shopping is the best part!

Here's the tip of the day: if you are traveling to Disney with a little one who wears diapers, save yourself the time and hassle of packing a suitcase full of Pampers. Order from Diapers.com and have them ship to where you'll be staying. Disney hotels will receive shipments for you up to one week prior to your arrival. They can send diapers, wipes, sanitizer, sunscreen; even bottles and formula.

Something's Definitely in the Air
What's your favorite Disney smell? Mine was always Pirates of the Caribbean. Then I grew up and learned that's what an old water ride smells like, LOL. But not so fast, I think my child-self was right.

Get 'em while they're hot!
Get 'em while they're hot! The Disney Store has deeply discounted its graphic tees for kids and adults. My advice is to buy them before your trip to save big bucks. Great deals on flip flops and swimsuits too.

More on Height Requirements
My friend and fellow Disney-blogger, Kristin, took her little guy on Splash Mountain, even though he didn't meet the height requirements. Splash Mountain cast members are much more lax about height requirements than on other rides. Of course the regulations are there for your safety, but frankly, a couple of inches doesn't make that big of a difference.
Disney Height Requirements
The height requirement for the Matterhorn is very small. My seven year old daughter is tall enough to ride everything, but there are some rides I don't think she's ready for yet. What do you do with your kids?
