More on Height Requirements

My friend and fellow Disney-blogger, Kristin, took her little guy on Splash Mountain, even though he didn't meet the height requirements. Splash Mountain cast members are much more lax about height requirements than on other rides. Of course the regulations are there for your safety, but frankly, a couple of inches doesn't make that big of a difference.

  1. Here in Florida, Splash Mountain seems to check the kids pretty well. We just fold up a few layers of tissue and tuck it under the heals of my son. He gets checked at the front of the ride, and before they let him board. Big Thunder Railroad cracked me up last time, though. We didn't have anything in my son's shoes, but his twin sister, who's 41 inches tall got checked at the front. They guy slipped a card under her head to make sure there was no space between her and the marker. She passed, of course, but then he let my son through without a comment. He's only 39.5 inches! My husband and I exchanged puzzled glances, and walked on through. Never know. The worst thing that can happen is they say no.
